Jefferson Airplane

Legendary guitarist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jorma Kaukonen has announced an intimate and career-spanning U.S. tour in celebration of his 85th birthday this fall.

Kaukonen, a founding member of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, will perform shows in four major cities across the country, headlining The Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. on November 1, Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 29, the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco on December 5, and finally the Paramount Theatre in Denver on December 13.

He will be joined by fellow Hot Tuna member Jack Casady, Ross Garren, and Grammy Award winner Justin Guip as special guests at all four dates.

Meanwhile, Jim Lauderdale and Steve Kimock are set to hit the stage in D.C, and Steve Earle, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams , and GE Smith will appear in NYC.

San Francisco’s guests range from Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Sam Grisman, Peter Kaukonen, to Bruce Cockburn and John Hurlbut.

The Denver finale will feature R Carlos Nakai, Will Clipman and David Hidalgo.
