Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award-winning icon Barry Manilow<\/strong> has released What A Time<\/em>, his first album of nearly all-original material in almost 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced by Manilow and longtime collaborator Michael Lloyd<\/strong>, What A Time<\/em> is Manilow’s 33rd studio album and his first nearly all-original LP since 2011’s 15 Minutes<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album brings together an eclectic, cross-generational group of collaborators, including Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds<\/strong>, nine-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb<\/strong>, and prolific songwriter Gary Barlow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is a collection that pairs Manilow’s signature songwriting with influences ranging from orchestral pop and ballads to R&B, heartland rock, and gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What A Time<\/em>\u2026 it’s a collection of songs that feel really alive to me right now. They reflect where I’ve been, where I am\u2026 and a lot of what I still want to say,” says Manilow. “Each one’s got its own story, its own emotion\u2026 but when you put them all together, they really reflect a lifetime of songwriting, and all the different styles I’ve loved working in”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
