Winter WX Advisory

* Light freezing drizzle or very light freezing rain mixed
with snow at times producing a light glaze of ice along with
snow accumulations of an inch or less.

* Much of northern Indiana, far southwest Lower Michigan
and northwest Ohio counties near the Indiana border.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Surface weather observations and road
reports indicated widespread freezing drizzle was causing a
light glaze on many road impacting travel.


If you are travelling today, exercise extreme caution. Leave
extra time to reach your destination and allow plenty of space
between your vehicle and the one in front of you. Consider
delaying travel if possible.

Billy Joel

Billy Joel has postponed his upcoming concert at Madison Square Garden due to COVID concerns.

The show, which was scheduled to take place on January 14, has been rescheduled to August 24.

“Nothing is more important to me than the safety and well-being of my band, crew, and the fans; so due to unfortunate COVID-related circumstances, we made the decision to reschedule the January 14th concert at MSG,” Joel tweeted along with an image with further information regarding the postponement.

Bon Jovi

Rock icon Bon Jovi will be back on the road for a North American arena tour in Spring 2022.

“We have all missed touring and we know that nothing can replace the energy of a live show for the fans or the band,” the rock band’s lead singer Jon Bon Jovi said in a press release.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group hasn’t toured since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

The month-long tour will kick off in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 1, and conclude on the last day of the month in Nashville.

Tickets for most dates will go on sale to the general public on January 14.

Beachlife Festival!

The BeachLife Festival is set to take place on the Redondo Beach Pier in Redondo Beach, California, from May 13-15. Tickets are on sale now. Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Miller Band have been confirmed as the headliners for this year’s BeachLife Festival.

Other acts set to perform at BeachLife include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Allman Betts Band, 311, Sheryl Crow, Vance Joy, Black Pumas, Lord Huron, Stone Temple Pilots, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, ALO, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Record Company and more.

Ronnie Spector

Ronnie Spector, the co-founder of the legendary R&B/soul group The Ronettes, has died at the age of 78.

Spector’s family confirmed the news through a statement, saying, “Our beloved earth angel, Ronnie, peacefully left this world today after a brief battle with cancer. She was with family and in the arms of her husband, Jonathan.”

“Ronnie lived her life with a twinkle in her eye, a spunky attitude, a wicked sense of humor and a smile on her face. She was filled with love and gratitude. Her joyful sound, playful nature and magical presence will live on in all who knew, heard or saw her,” the statement adds. “In lieu of flowers, Ronnie requested that donations be made to your local women’s shelter or to the American Indian College Fund. A celebration of Ronnie’s life and music will be announced in the future. The family respectfully asks for privacy at this time.”

Bonnaroo Festival!

A star-studded lineup for this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been announced.

Scheduled to be held from June 16-19 on Bonnaroo Farm, in Manchester, Tennessee, the festival will see a wide array of artists performing on more than ten unique stages.

The Bonnaroo headliners include J. Cole, The Chicks, Illenium, Tool, Flume, 21 Savage, Stevie Nicks, Machine Gun Kelly and Roddy Ricch.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Disclosure, Billy Strings, $uicideboy$, Porter Robinson, Chvrches, Ludacris and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are also set to perform.

Rod Stewart

The rising number of cases of Covid-19 in Australia have prompted Rod Stewart to call off his tour of the country in March-April.

The veteran British singer was scheduled to play nine shows during the tour, which included a mix of arenas and outdoor wineries, for Roundhouse Entertainment’s A Day on the Green series.

“My dear friends, once again I feel we’ve all been cheated by this evil disease, so it is with great regret that I announce my shows for 2022 have had to be canceled,” Stewart said in the statement.

He added, “My thoughts are with all your families at this difficult time as we come out of the joyous and hopefully safe holiday season and I look forward to returning to Australia as soon as the health situation permits.”
